A healthy school canteen operates on Fridays during term.
The school canteen is run by parent volunteers on behalf of the school. The canteen provides a lunch order service and over-the-counter sales at morning tea and lunchtime.
Lunch Order Procedure
The canteen offers a convenient online ordering system using Our Online Canteen www.quickcliq.com.au/
Canteen orders must be placed prior to 8.30am on canteen days (no orders can be accepted after this time). Please check that you have received an email confirmation after you have submitted your order each week.
Your child’s lunch order will be delivered to their classroom in a paper bag. Pizza and noodle orders are to be collected from the canteen (your child will receive a paper bag in the lunch order basket with their order details which they must take to the canteen to collect their order).
- Orders may be placed up to two weeks in advance.
- Children can purchase over-the-counter items with cash at morning tea and lunch (if you are sending money for your Kindergarten child, it is recommended that they have a small purse that is kept in the front of their school bag).
See www.quickcliq.com.au/ to set-up your account and details on how to place an order.

Volunteer Roster System
A parent volunteer roster system operates each canteen day.
Helping in your canteen is a wonderful way to meet other parents, gain food handling experience, help your child’s school gain extra funds and of course, give your child the thrill to see you in the canteen! Volunteers in the canteen are often mums, dads and grandparents – all working together to make our school canteen a fun and happy place.
The Canteen Committee greatly appreciates all volunteers – without them the canteen couldn’t operate! Please sign up for as much or as little time as you can spare – any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.
The canteen is managed by parents Julie Demasi and Janie Kelman-Smith. The canteen is staffed by volunteers – parent and grandparents.
The canteen operates on a small profit margin with all profits going to provide a source of funding for the school. Being able to contribute to school funds and still offer moderate prices is only made possible through the support of our greatly appreciated volunteer helpers.
If you would like to find out more about how the canteen operates, planning ‘Special Lunch’ days, evaluating possible seasonal additions to the menu and liaising with the Australian Schools Canteen Association (who set canteen food guidelines), please free to contact either Julie or Janie.
